Tourism is everybody's business and we encourage businesses to get involved in the tourism partnership program.
Why tourism should be a cooperative effort: The Tourism Promotions Partnership Program aims to form a cooperative link between the Manning Valley Visitor Information Centre, the Tourism Board and the tourism industry with all funds generated from the Program going directly back into the promotion of the Manning Valley.
These funds are being used to promote the Manning Valley via television advertising in the New England/North West, Newcastle/Hunter and Central Coast regions.
We all benefit: Every business in the Manning Valley benefits to varying degrees from tourism dollars and in fact this figure has been estimated to be valued at around $140 million annually to our local economy (source: National Visitor Survey Statistics).
Tourism Creates Jobs: There are over 2,600 jobs directly and indirectly tourism related in the Manning Valley. These range from micro and small to medium and large businesses.
