50 Beach Road, Harrington
Poets by the Sea celebrates the rich history of Australian Bush Verse or Poetry. Whilst there are many well known purveyors of the art, such as "Banjo" Paterson and Henry Lawson, the numbers of their poems pale into insignificance compared with what has been written by ordinary, everyday people throughout our history. This three day event is held in the small coastal town of Harrington on the Mid North Coast of NSW. Professional bush poets entertain at a number of the towns venues with event themes reflecting the coastal location e.g. Surfin the Verse and Pipis and Poets. The festival also offers major prizes for original works in various competition categories for young and old. Throw in the attractions and activities of this charming coastal village and you have a Festival that is fast becoming a must do for all interested in things Australian.

Wingham Showground, Gloucester Road, Wingham
Cars, motorcycles, boats, archery, fishing, shooting, hot rods, trucks, tools, model trains and planes and anything in between that would interest big boys and girls can be on display at the Wingham Big Boys Toys Show. There seems to be a lot of "toys" that spend their life under a blanket in the shed and it is the event's aim for the owners to bring them out, brag about them and show them off to the general public.
